A 'palimpsest' is a ancient reusable parchment, for storing and sharing information. This is the name we have given to our more modern version - the Blueorange Client Extranet.

Palimsest allows non-technical users to build and manage information within a simple, password protected web-site or 'extranet'. Its main application is for project management and distributed knowledge sharing.

During all of our projects, we and our clients together use palimpsest to post and organise different kinds of files within neatly packaged folder types, such as image galleries, document libraries, and notes.

Palimpsest also includes an interactive issue & ideas tracker. The tracker automatically emails relevant project managers and subscribers when a project issue has been raised, assigned or resolved.

Palimpsest is also available for non-blueorange project work. Several of our clients have adopted this powerful and easy-to-use system for their ongoing knowledge sharing and project management needs.
